    • Hi, Mary Ann

Thank you for your attention to Soda Ash Water, because it is called in Chinese: 枧水, 枧水, jiǎn shuǐ, in the traditional Chinese method, it takes a lot of time to make jiǎn shuǐ, and I don’t know how to translate it. So I translated it to Soda Ash Water, and I went to the Chinese website to check out its ingredients. It contains ingredients called: Potassium carbonate, you can mix the (Soda Ash or Sodium Bicarbonate by Pure Organic Ingredients) And water in a ratio of 1:3 instead.

Jiǎn shuǐ There are no ready-made products available on Amazon to buy. In China, Jiǎn shuǐ is a common traditional ingredient for making cakes. It is boiled with grass ash and water for one day. The supernatant is taken to obtain an alkaline solution with a pH of 12.6. The main components are potassium carbonate and sodium carbonate.
